for the first session in WCCD’s Health and Wellness Series: Embodying Self Love | Virtual Yoga and Journaling
. We’ll be joined by Mary Mbaba, MPH, MA
, a 12-year yoga practitioner and instructor currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Applied Social Psychology at The George Washington University. Her public health research focuses on intersectionality and mental health with a mission to promote health equity for marginalized underserved communities. Mbaba is also the creator of Vinyl and Vinyasa
, which combines the healing power of yoga, music, and meditation. This session will cater to both our physical and mental health, with a guided yoga experience (all levels welcome), followed by journaling exercises for self-reflection. Grab your yoga mat, journal and register today!
