Carla Mannings

Director

Carla Mannings is Chief Investment and Impact Officer for Partners (Partners for the Common Good and Community Development Bankers Association). Ms. Mannings leads resource cultivation, business development, impact measurement and management, and program initiatives, including racial equity work.
 Before joining Partners, Carla held Commercial Banking positions at Amalgamated Bank (First Vice President) and City First Bank (Senior Vice President). Other roles in her career include Chief of Strategic Initiatives at Partners, Relationship Manager for NeighborWorks America, and Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer for Community Housing Capital.
 Additionally, Carla spent 20 with Wells Fargo and Silverton Bank. Prior positions include Senior Commercial Loan Underwriter, Private Banking Underwriter, and Management Consultant in the Commercial and Finance divisions of Wells Fargo Bank.
Since 2007, Carla has been a catalyst for positive change within the CDFI industry. She has served on national boards, including Opportunity Finance Network (OFN), and was one of the founding board members for the National Disability CDFI Coalition and Women of Color in Community Development (WCCD). Carla is currently a Board Member and Loan Committee Chair of NeighborGood Partners, a Board Member with Adrian Dominican Sisters, Appalachian Assistive Technology Loan Fund, and Platform of Hope. She is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
Carla holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Howard University and a Master of Business Administration from Brenau University. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with family, traveling, exploring the arts, and volunteering in her community.
