Crystal Jackson is at Senior Vice President within the Community Development Banking group at Bank of America. Her primary role is to oversee the team that handles the monitoring and disbursement of all loans made in support of the new construction, or rehabilitation of, affordable apartment complexes within the CDB South region. Her team currently manages approximately $2B in loans made for affordable housing construction from Pennsylvania to Florida and as far west at Texas.
Crystal joined Bank of America in 2005 as an analyst in the Corporate Investments group at Bank of America in Charlotte, NC. She transitioned to the Bank’s Special Assets Group in 2008 and joined he Bank’s Community Development Banking team in 2010. Crystal briefly left Bank of America in 2016 to work for the National Association of Home Builders where she focused on affordable housing policy and worked closely with NAHB’s affordable multifamily developer members. In 2021, Crystal decided to return to the Bank as a Senior Portfolio Manager overseeing a portfolio of affordable multifamily construction loans made in California, Oregon, Washington, Texas. She transitioned into her current role, as a Senior Credit Products Manager, in the summer of 2022.
Crystal holds a BS in Business Administration from Florida A&M University and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Clemson University.
