At a moment when access to capital is shrinking and long-standing equity initiatives are being scaled back, women of color developers continue to face disproportionate barriers to getting projects funded, built, and sustained.

This convening creates space for honest conversation, shared insight, and practical thinking around what it will take to continue advancing affordable housing, commercial development, and community investment led by women of color.

Rather than traditional panels, these conversations are designed to bring participants into dialogue with one another. Together, we will explore both the challenges and opportunities shaping the current landscape and identify actionable ways to support continued access to capital and long-term growth.

Conversation 1 | Is It Me? Or Is It Them?
A conversation among women developers on growth, obstacles, relationships, opportunity, and what it takes to move projects forward today.

Moderator: Kendra Whitaker | More2Build

Ayesha Hudson | A-Peace LLC
Ruth Hoang | Jair Lynch Real Estate Partners

Conversation 2 | What Will It Take?
A conversation with lenders and capital partners on sustaining investment in developers of color and what meaningful support requires in this moment.

Moderator: Shellon Fraser | National Housing Trust

Lori Chatman | Enterprise Community Partners
Sonja Wells | City First Bank
Eliisa Frazier | Low Income Investment Fund (LIIF)

Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of these timely roundtable conversations.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to submit questions and topics in advance to help shape the discussion.
